Caleb is a growth-oriented executive who brings a strategic and hands-on approach to the CFO/COO role. With 15+ years of experience driving growth, and leading fundraising and exits across a diverse range of companies—from venture-backed startups and NGOs to public companies, both B2B and B2C—he has a proven track record of scaling the Finance & Accounting functions, optimizing operations, and improving financial performance.

Throughout his career, Caleb has focused organizations on improving the core drivers of the Company’s unit economics using cross-functional collaboration, streamlined processes and systems. He brings deep analytical and technical expertise, implementing initiatives like OKRs, Business Case processes and EPM’s like Adaptive Insights to improve visibility, operational efficiency and scalability of financial operations.

Highlights include:

  • Oversaw the Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal and Support functions for 8fit as CFO/COO, a venture-backed B2C Fitness app, unlocking growth from $5M > $25M ARR and leading a $10M Series B raise
  • Directed Finance & Business Operations at InsideTrack, a B2B tech-enabled coaching services for University students, rolling out new EPM, AP/AR, HR, Travel, & Expense systems to ensure a successful transition to a fully remote company while supporting CEO/CFO in $5M venture debt raise and acquisition by Strada Education
  • Supported in-house CFO/COO with financial planning leading to successful acquisition as Fractional Finance Director at Caption Health, a B2B AI health tech company acquired by GE Healthcare
  • Served as a Finance Director at Multitude Group, a publicly-traded Finnish fintech steering the company’s growth opportunities and operations in 5 emerging markets and a $100M book of loans
  • Led high growth venture-backed startups like Personio, Gusto, Yohanna, Onefootball in their financial transformations from sheets to EPMs

Caleb also has extensive international experience including overseeing financial operations of legal entities in Germany, Spain, Serbia, Brazil, and Mexico, along with the USA. An avid traveler and foodie, he has visited 50+ countries, lived in 7+ countries and speaks fluent Spanish along with a working knowledge of Portuguese.

Caleb holds an M.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Finance from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
