His broad experience in healthcare, wellness, CPG, telecommunications, SaaS/PaaS, professional services, non-profits, government agencies and manufacturing provides him extensive examples to draw on in helping orgs develop sustained world-class delivery, sustained performance, employee satisfaction and retention.
Using his experience as a COO, CFO, banker and consultant, he is adept at ‘seeing the whole field’ to quickly drive outcomes in a fractional role. With an objective, roll up the sleeves personality, he is able to quickly and deeply connect with your whole team – visionaries, executives, clients, managers, support staff, tech developers, the manufacturing floor and the Board.
Per blends a deep understanding of strategic and tactical finance, operations, planning, product-market fit vectors and organizational dynamics to provide CEOs, owners, and founders with holistic and well-balanced advice. He has directly raised more than $25m and advised over 100 companies. Sample relevant experience includes:
- Serving as a fractional CFO and COO for an integrated health organization, leading its evolution from solely in-clinic care to including digital health, government, university and commercial lines of business.
- Serving as an emergency fractional CFO for an $8m mobile phone refurbisher, implementing risk management and controls, raising $2.3m and enabling strategic extension downstream into mobile phone services.
- Serving as a fractional CFO for a $9m D2C CPG brand, providing truth into actual customer LTV and manufacturing costs by channel and supply chain, advising on manufacturing capital improvements, ultimately improving LTV by 45% and 32% revenue growth to $12m+ in 18 months.
- Serving as the COO and Finance Director for a professional services firm, improving gross margins by 65% and helping drive 300% revenue growth over 3 years, achieving Inc. 5000 list inclusion multiple times.
A former collegiate and European league quarterback, Per continues to focus on getting his teams into the best play to move downfield. Per resides in the mountains above Durango, CO with his wife and their two boys. He is active in their community, serving with the Chamber of Commerce, several non-profits and as a youth sports coach.
Per holds a MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan). He also holds a B.S. from Cornell University, where he was an Academic All-American and earned the prestigious Cornell National Scholar designation.
