It was Bill who set in motion the ‘re-engineering’ of REMTECH to make the workforce more cohesive, the business more responsive to our client base, and, ultimately, the company profitable. He’s a sharp individual who approaches things with a ‘definiteness of purpose’ and an innovative attitude toward finding success in any endeavor. He earns respect through his management and is not afraid to make tough decisions. Just as important, when the going gets tough, he stands behind his decisions and with his staff.

William (Bill) Bailer is an entrepreneurial, results-driven senior leader with over 30 years of successes leading all areas of “the business” including Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing and IT as well as Operations and Supply Chain management in a variety of industries.

He is an experienced professional effectively delivering consistent and measurable growth and profitability through human capital development, financial performance analyses, reengineering and optimization of financial and operational processes, marketing & business development, and strategic plan design and KPI implementation. Bill’s focus on “strategic listening“ is critical to his uncovering and understanding complex issues within the organization and creating value-driven change.

Bill’s experiences with turnaround management, startups and growth initiatives include the following industries: Services, Construction, Non-profit, Environmental, Safety Consultancy and Consumer Products. He has proven and transferable skills as CFO and COO.

Bill’s expertise includes:

  • CFO services including supervision of cash management, cost accounting, financial statement preparation & analyses, Board presentations, corporate budgeting as well as breakeven and contribution margin analysis
  • COO responsibilities for international supply chains, inventory and safety stock optimization, LEAN distribution continuous processes improvements, and research and implementation of IT infrastructures including SDLC, ERP, TMS, YMS, LMS, EDI and recovery strategies
  • CIO Leadership of SDLC IT strategies for implementation and maintenance of ERP, LMS, WMS, TMS IT systems as well as EDI, XML, RGP for electronic order delivery as well as Amazon and Shopify services and virtual reinstallation server systems for crises management

Bill’s formal education includes an undergraduate BS degree in Chemistry from Jefferson University in Philadelphia as well as an MBA and Ecommerce certificate marketing from Columbia University.

Bill came in initially to look at reducing overhead financial costs. Based on Bill’s recommendation, we interviewed and hired a new corporate tax firm and a financial audit firm within a few weeks. Bill’s recommendation and our hiring of these firms have resulted in substantial savings, which continue to this day. Bill made numerous challenging business decisions and changes during his tenure.
