Joe Dubow is a dynamic C-level executive whose broad expertise spans beyond finance to encompass comprehensive business leadership. Select accomplishments:

  • P&L Management – Collaborated with executive teams to strategically manage the business to maximize profitability without sacrificing revenue. Example results include a 19% increase in EBITDA per year while expanding margins by 420 basis points over a three-year period. Reviewed sales contracts to optimize margins, cash flow and revenue recognition.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting – Provided forensic accounting to recreate the books and records for initial audit of a start up in preparation of taking the company public. Prepared audited financial statements, provided fractional CFO services and audit support.
  • Cash Flow Optimization – Created a detailed cash flow forecasting model improving accuracy and predictability to enhance cash management and liquidity of a highly leveraged capital structure with restrictive debt covenants. Optimized capital structure by negotiating revolving credit agreements and eliminating debt, resulting in upgrades from Standard & Poor’s & Moody’s. Partnered with pre revenue start-ups to prioritize spending and evaluate strategic alternatives.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions – Broad experience with over $7 billion in domestic and international closed deals. Conducted sell side and buy side due diligence, quality of earnings reviews and post transaction integrations. Prepared Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs).
  • Process Improvements – Developed and executed a three-year strategy achieving $29 million in productivity savings which eliminated over 17,000 underperforming SKU’s. Trained, mentored, coached and challenged Champions, Black Belts, Green Belts, Yellow Belts and Process owners to develop a Six Sigma culture.
  • Systems Implementations – Extensive experience implementing software systems including Oracle Financials, NetSuite and SAP.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Montclair State University and earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).

Joe enjoys spending time with his family, especially spoiling his four grandchildren. He also enjoys music, traveling and good wine.

I have known Joe for over 40 years, first meeting in a corporate environment, which developed into a strong personal relationship. Over the years Joe has provided advisory services to my business, FreshPro Food Distributors; and I continue to seek his counsel.
