Kevin Ewanyk is a financial and operating senior executive with over 25 years of experience in public and private businesses, ranging from: entrepreneurial startups, private equity-backed firms, family / privately-owned businesses, pre-IPO and public companies, turnaround situations, non-profit organizations, and unicorns. His industry experience spans banking, financial services, energy and environmental organizations, construction, software, hardware, consulting, technology and SAAS, professional services, government, consumer, global manufacturing and distribution companies.
Kevin has helped companies with all aspects of CFO advisory services, growth planning, exit strategies, finance and accounting services, budgeting, forecasting and planning, cashflow analysis, domestic and international multiple company consolidations, and establishing and growing corporate infrastructures. He has overseen multiple teams of both domestic and international professionals from accountants, tax, human resources, IT, domestic and international purchasing and sourcing teams, operations, legal and contracts, sales, and audit teams. As a leader in an organization, Kevin builds collaborative and effective teams to help companies move to the next level of growth.
Partnering with owners and CEOs of organizations, Kevin is the trusted advisor to other leaders within the company helping to clarify, crystalize, and define their vision; grow their company’s infrastructure; increase value; develop and implement strategies processes and policies while achieving steady growth and success. Kevin enjoys budgeting, long-range planning, stakeholder and management reporting, financial planning & analysis, KPIs, developing dashboards, and partnering with companies to help them increase profitability and maximize EBITDA.
He has led due diligence efforts and integration of accounting/finance, sales, operations teams for multiple corporate sales and acquisitions from both the buy and sell-side perspectives. Kevin has also driven many successful financial infrastructure improvements, assisting clients in the selection, implementation, conversion and automation of financial, ERP, accounting, payroll, tax, purchasing and expense tracking systems (with and without the assistance of a value-added reseller).
Earlier in his career, Kevin worked and lived in Hong Kong and oversaw the Asia Pacific headquarters of a large multinational corporation with 13 country offices in the Asia Pacific region. Later, he managed worldwide purchasing/outsourcing and explored startup operations in the Middle East region. He also has experience with offshore taxing authorities, transfer pricing agreements, and foreign government audits and tax challenges, including offshore audits throughout the world.
Kevin has an MBA Degree from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, completed additional graduate work at Cornell University, and a B.S Degree in Business Administration from State University of New York at New Paltz. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys supporting youth activities and volunteering to help the local food pantries, under-privileged families, and the homeless.
