Nikko Hayes has three decades of experience in the investment banking industry as well as acting as a strategic advisor to smaller development stage companies.  Nikko’s diverse experience is optimally positioned to  provide companies with advice as a strategic capital markets focused CFO.

Nikko spent his career as an investment banker at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank advising companies and private equity firms on capital markets transactions in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (“TMT”) and Real Estate, Gaming, Leisure and Lodging (“REGLL”) sectors. The transactions included numerous financings for corporate and private equity clients across the leveraged debt capital markets including M+A, LBOs and project financings.  In addition to Nikko’s investment banking expertise, he has advised several early to mid stage growth companies on M&A and fund raising processes.  For a company in the beverage sector, Nikko was active in advising on a fund raising round including the positioning of the company, its strategic direction and modeling its path to profitability.  Acting as an advisor to a company in the financial services sector, Nikko worked with the founders to evaluate strategic options around growth capital, capital structuring and strategic alternatives.

As a strategic CFO, Nikko brings decades of finance experience in capital raising for growth and M+A activities.  In particular, he has a deep background in financial planning, complex modeling, legal document preparation and negotiation, and bank and investor relations. Nikko has a BA from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and has his Series 7 and 63 licenses.  He lives in New York City with this wife and two daughters.  In his spare time, Nikko enjoys running, skiing and fly fishing.
